Bangkok,Thailand Travel Pictures: Sawadeka!

This is one of my dream destinations to travel and to explore. Thailand is one of south-east Asia top travel destination, and being an Asian myself, I am curious and eager to see what Thailand makes a top travel destination. Before my trip this June, I had been researching for places that I would love to see and foods that I would love to try on. I read that Thailand’s weather is really hot; they have a lot of temples; their  food is a must try and it is a shopping haven, especially for girls! As for their nightlife, I wasn't able to include it in my itinerary as I am travelling together with my parents. In few more hours, off we go!

We arrived around 10AM in Suvarnabhumi airport, and we were picked up by Mr. Porn. Mr.Porn is a Thai that drove us in and out of the city. He speaks English and is really nice. He advised us that instead of going to Bangkok, we head to Ayutthaya first. And here are some memorable places that we've been to.

AYUTTHAYA, THAILAND

1. Bang Pa-In Summer Palace

2. Wat Mahathat

3. Wat Phrasisanphet

4. Wat Yai Chaimongkhon

BANGKOK, THAILAND

1. The Royal Grand Palace

2. Wat Pho

3. Wat Arun

We also went to their weekend market, Chatuchak, but I wasn't able to take pictures as both my hands are handful from shopping. I would like to go back in Thailand, but probably during the months of December until  February, because the weather during those month isn't as hot as what we experienced. The food is great; my favorite Thai dishes Pad Thai, Mango salad (though it is a bit spicy), Tom Yam, and mango with sticky rice. I also enjoyed their version of bbq which is sold along the streets. The only thing that observed is that English is not well-spoken, except in downtown where tourist can be seen everywhere. But other than that, I am still looking forward to be back and visit Thailand once again.
